Why there are 7 days in a week?

, there is no clear answer. The Babylonians used a 7-day week, named after the seven major movers in the sky, Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn. They were, in their calendar, named after the Gods of each of those movers and shapers.

If there were eight days then u would have criticized y there r eight days in a week .
So leave what ever it is
