Why there are evergreen forest on in western ghats of India

because there is heavy rainfall in the western ghats due to the south west monsoon winds thus the forests here are perennial evergreen forests

It is because in north east you have the bramhaputra river,ganges flowing and falls into bay of bengal through bangladesh .You can clearly see in the india map how bramahaputra river flows.
And when it comes to western ghats you have all the imp rivers of south india have their origination from westernghats, it is proven that south india is bit tilted towards east ,so the point of origin of krishna,godavari,cauvery etc and also western flowing rivers narmada and tapthi
