There are more chances of catching cold at public places because:

~There are many people at a public place .

~You never know the type of air borne disease they are affected with.

~Common cold is also an air borne disease.

~When an individual is affected with any air borne disease and spots or coughs or sneezes at a public place the disease causing bacteria or virus etc. comes out in small droplets in sneeze or cough and in large amount in saliva . These droplets circulate in the air.

~So it is very easy for an individual to get affected by these bacteria/viruses .

~therefore there are more chances of catching cold at public places.
