Why there are more sperm cell are produced than egg cell?

⇨Sperm cells are produced by males and the egg cells are produced by females,Sperm cells are produced more as they travel,Some will stuck and only the one will reach the egg cell but there is only one egg cell as it will not travel,hence twin birth takes place when two sperm cells fuse with a egg cell.⇦
