Potholed roads are a common sight across rural and urban India especially during and after monsoons. Every year crores and crores of rupees are spent by the highway agencies in extensive pothole patch repairs. Because of adverse media coverage these agencies do patch repairs of main streets in urban areas and main highways in rural areas after the monsoon season is over. By lanes in towns and cities and some secondary roads in rural areas usually remain neglected for years. This ritual is repeated year after year despite the fact that due to potholes several lakhs of people are involved in accidents causing serious injuries and in many cases fatalities.

we have a lot of potholes on indian roads because -

lack of awareness- we or some official don't know that pot holes exist in india . Irony!!!

ignorance - we ignore these holes like a stone in rose garden. I mean no one want to do any thing for improvement...

corruption - well I may be hang to death if I go against the system but it is true that some filthy officers exist ... they don't care about you , me and they don't even care about their family....

yourself - we only blame others for wrong stuff but we should do something to or prevent the happening of bad we should have unit and

as they say if u want a work to be done perfectly do it by your self.....
