Why there is a difference in the resistance of the same bulb when it is not glowing and when it is glowing?

When bulb is glowing i. e. when current is passed the filament of the bulb, due to the heating effect of the current starts heating up. As we know that the resistance is directly proportional to the temperature, the resistance of the bulb increases.

In fact it is due to this resistance that the bulb starts glowing.
