Following are some points :-

1) Resource planning is essential as resources are being limited and are unevenly distributed over the country and world.

2) Resource planning will help to reduce the wastage as well as will help in taking care of the requirements of the future generation.

3) Resources such as Wind and sunlight are available in States like:- Gujarat and Rajasthan but have lack of development.

4) Similarly, In states like Madhya Pradesh , Jharkhand and chattisgarh have rich coal mineral resources but are not used properly.

5) So, resource planning from national to local level ensuring healthy development.

⭐ Due to changing lifestyles , the demands for resources is increasing tremendously.

⭐ To supply resources to ever increasing population, the resources are being highly over exploited .

⭐ The presently used resources that fulfill most of our energy needs are limited in nature. Once exhausted , they can't be replenished .

⭐ In order to ensure the availability of resources to our future generations, we need to evolve a proper plan for use of present resources.
