Why there is dark inside the forest

because forests has more trees...so that light can't be fall in every place of forest ..hence forest is dark

There is dark inside the forest because the dense vegetation obstructs the the sunlight and an environment of darkness is created in the forest,even at the daytime.

- The vegetation density of the forestland is way higher than the normal region.

- Due to this dense umbrella or blanket like layer of thick vegetation ,the sunlight is obstructed and the forest becomes dark even in the daytime.
