Why there is decline in share of agriculture in gdp?

Though the foodgrain production is at all time high, horticulture production also crossed 250 mn MT but other sectors like manufacturing and service outpaced agriculture. Overall growth of agriculture sector is also not impressing. YoY Agri GDP growth is less than 4% in most of the last 10 yrs. Service sector grew very fast and at the same time Agri growth was stagnant. Productivity is too low…60% population contribute only 14% of GDP.
