why there is difference between the duration of day and night between kanyakumari and jammu and kashmir

bcoz the difference between northn pole and sun is very much and southn part is closer to sun .so, thats why south pole experience both sun and moon at the same time but northern pole not

Kanniyakumari is closer to the equator than Kashmir. As the equator receives direct sunlight, the duration of day and night is hardly felt at Kanniyakumari. On the other hand, Kashmir is at 37°N latitude, which means it is 37° far from the equator and does not receive direct sunlight. So there is a difference between the duration of day and night in both the cases.
