there is difference because Emission is the ability of a substance to give off light, when it interacts with heat.Absorption is the opposite of emission, whereenergy, light or radiation is absorbed by the electrons of a particular matter. Suppose you want to obtain information about a sample depending on its interaction with the radiation.
