We need to conserve resources due to following reasons -

(1) Resources are limited.

(2) Resources are unevenly distributed.

(3) In order to prevent wastage conserving resource is necessary.

(4) We need to conserve resources for future generations and use them economically.

(5) Conservation of resources is required because of the rapid depletion and very slow regeneration of the exhaustible sources of energy like coal, petroleum,etc.
