There is no menstruation during lactation as the progesterone levels remains high which does not stimulate the ovary to release egg .

Explanation: As progesterone produces

-ve feedback to the anterior pituitary which inhibits the release of GnRH ,FSH and LH which in turns does not stimulate the ovary to release the egg. So the menstruation stops during lactation
