because of presence of Chambers in the heart.
the oxygenated and deoxygenated blood is separated through a thick middle wall called septum which prevents intermixing.

Since deoxygenated blood in right ventricle and atrium is seperated by atrialventral septum from left ventricle and atrium carrying o2 blood
