because he loves too much to childrens,that's why on the birthday of jawaharlal Nehru, we celebrate as Children's Day.

Jawaharlal nehru was the first prime minister of independent India. He love children and children also loved him very much . Due to their love and affection with children we celebrate jawaharlal Nehru's birthday as children's day.
