Answer: area of triangle is 0.5*a*b*sin(theta) where theta is the angle a vector and b vector which is written in vector form as 0.5*cross product of a vector versus b vector.

Also, area of triangle is given by 0.5*base*height. Which can be obtained from above vector formula as a*sin(theta) is basically height and magnitude of b is basically base
