Well without any source, how will I know who was the first president of the United States and what do we know what he does without any source or evidence?

That would be like 800 years ago, Utes fought a war around the area where my house will now stand but without any physical evidence or source to back this up then it will look like I made history up. Althought that incident can happen but it would pass down to oral traditions and oral histories are not reliable but still, it could happen.

Without any source, you could say George Washington crossed the Mississippi River and no one will know if that is true and our history becomes confusing. But with source, it never tells us that George Washington crossed the Mississippi River. Source tells us he mostly reminded in the East Coast, visited Ohio region, left to Burmuda and during his presidency; he never crossed the Appalachian mountains.
