Why tigers doesn't depend on plants for their food?

As, the other animals which the tiger eat like deer , rabbit etc. which gain their nutrition from plants , So if there were no plants these animals wouldn't be there and nothing for the Carnivores to eat. Without plants , the food chain will be incomplete and life wouldn't be possible on Earth.
