why tip of pin is made sharp

the tip of pen is made sharp so that the users get a good grip on the paper as the pressure increases and  it helps the users to write comfortably and neatly.

the tip of a pin is made sharp from the fact that when area is reduced pressure is increased and when area is increased pressure is decreased .so that the pin can easily get into anything ( means can hole anything easily ) it has less area in the tip ( means that it is made sharp )
