gases have a very loose intermolecular attraction.due to that ,the particles are not very tightly packed.so that they continuosly move with large force. thats why gases diffuse very fastly. moreover ,large intermolecular spaces help for the movement.due to bombardment of particles, gases diffuse faster than liquids and solids.
