                       GOOD FRIDAY

Good Friday is the one of the most  important festival of Christians, which is celebrate to mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Good Friday usually comes between March 20 and April 23. It was initially called God's Friday, recalling Christ's suffering and death.

Earlier, on Easter Sunday, the Christmas Church was celebrated as a holy day. By the 4th century, the day before Easter were established as Holy Day's, including Good's Friday. It is believed that 'good' means the gift of liberation brought after the martyr.

Crossing prayers and meditation on the cross stations at the festivals, the succession of 14 images, usually on the wooden cross, reflects the incidents of crossing and moving forward. In Eastern Orthodox Churches, it is known as 'Great Friday'.

Initially this day was celebrated as the day of simple fasting which was not related to Jesus' death. It was associated with the cross since the second half of the fourth century.

A special class of Christians sees the cross of Christ as a voluntary act, in which death was resurrected by the resurrection. On this day Christians meet many times and pray.

Apart from this, the lessons of Scripture held in the circle are also part of the festival.

In some congregations, the role of Jesus is also applied in a ritual that is called the station of the cross. Thus, Good Friday is celebrated as the day of fasting, mourning, sorrow and prayer.
