- before that 1990 the mostly trains have blue color. before 1990 in the trains have use Vaccum braking system. that system is so old,so that why train are break so slow. A few years later the new breaking system come which name is Air braking system. it is so faster than old Vaccum braking system. slowly all train started to use that new Air braking system. so we can't judge a one catch that is there is new or old breaking system is use, because on that time all trains was red. that a make a confusion that there is which breaking system is used. so differentiate this they decided that..maximum in all train in which new system is used then they colored them in blue color. and in train in which have old system they didn't color them.they leave it in red color. That's why in now days we see the blue colored train because in all the train have new and advanced breaking system.
hope this helps you
thank you!!

Explanation:
Yes, we can say that the most trains under the Rail Corporation of India have a blue shade to them. This has become a thing of importance since the early 1990s.
The one thing to notice is that the colour blue has been preferred for mostly all the kit colours of our sports i.e Cricket, Football, Hockey etc. The colour blue has now become a signature in the whole wide world.
