because light rays pass through the transparent object and shadows only form when any object breaks this light rays

Shadows are formed when an object blocks.. so the object must be opaque or translucent... Transparent do not form shadow because in those objects light are not blocked instead the light is passed through it......
since light is not blocked transparent objects it will not form shadow....
