Transpiration is necessary to uptake water from roots for it's transportation in different parts of plant ( 2hich would be used for photosynthesis) and this process causes loss of water from the plant so transpiration is called necessary evil.

Answer:

Hi friend________,

★ Transpiration is essential for the movement of water and minerals from the root to the healthy parts of the plant.

★ But excess transpiration may result in drying up of the leaves or wilting & loss of soil water.

★ Hence it is termed as a necessary evil.

Thank you! (^.^)
