Hello... Their are two reasons behind this...
1. In rainforest their is a good supply of water which is necessary for all organism to survive.
2. Rainforest provide humidity which is liked by most of the insects and for eating that insects the predators also prefer living their, this is the reason it supports wide variety of animals.
Taking about the Plants large amount of insect and Air, Water provide mediums for pollination of plant and this condition is the best condition for growth so it provide a wide variety of plant.
