Trucks and buses have double tyres at the rear end because they carry much weight and if there would be one tyre it would occupy small area on the road and much pressure would be exerted on the road. the road would be cracked and Break. Therefore to decrease the pressure on the road, tyres are thick and there are double tyres to increase the surface area such that less pressure is exerted on the road. Thus they can carry much weight or load without exerting much pressure.
