Tungsten (W) is a metal which has very high melting point. in fact bro I think Tungsten has the highest melting point in all the melting (key point: Carbon is the highest melting element).

key point: tungsten's MP = 3,422 °C

when we turn on the bulb, the metal inside the bulb heats up. it becomes very hot, it turns yellow and glows. other metals might melt at this temperature. but tungsten remains as it and just emits the heat as light.

Also, tungsten has high flexibility and low rate of evaporation at high temperature.
