Tungstun has the highest melting point of about 3695K, and it has the lowest vapopur pressure and gratest tensile strength and also it has high resistivity .Because of the above mentioned reasons tungstun is used as a filament in bulbs

The melting point and resistivity of tungsten are very high. It does not burn very easy at a high temperature. The electric lamps glow at very high temperatures. Hence, tungsten is mainly used as heating element of electric bulbs.

I hope, this will help you___❤❤
