Tourism is called as invisible trade because
• Tourism basically does not depend on the economic status of the country it depends on the culture , tradition, history and topohraphy of that country.
• Tourism gives us money for which we have not done anything.. It does not need any export or foreign trade to gain money..
• Tourism gives us our country a lot of employment.. About 15 million people are engaged on this business
• We gain a huge amount of money - about ₹ 64,889 crores..
• It directly or inderctly causes an economic, administrtive development of that country and the country also becomes very famous..
• There are various kinds of tourism - Historical tourism., adventure Tourism, Heritage tourism etc..
Eg - Switzerland, India..
Hope it helps..
Thanks
