why turmeric and ginger is not tuber but potato is considered as a tuber??

Answer:Why are ginger and turmeric not considered tubers? Because they're rhizomes. Tubers are roots that are completely buried and take in nutrients from the soil as they put out more roots. Rhizomes aren't roots (even though they are referred to that way).
