why two formulas are used in average velocity

1st initial velocity+ final velocity/2

2nd total displacement/ total time

pls answer I m very confused

pls explain by an example that this can be used in this question and this in this question​

displacement = 180 metre

time 60 seconds

average velocity= 180/6

average velocity=10
