- If we make a single hole in tin can, pressure inside tin can becomes less than atmospheric pressure after some oil is removed.
- This negative pressure gradient prevents further removal of oil from tin can.
- Thus, an extra hole (total two holes) is made in tin can so as to maintain pressure inside can.
