Why two stones do not come closer, even if there is gravitational force of attraction between them ?​

That is because both the stones are on earth. Earth is more massive as compared to both of them so they are pulled towards earth not to each other.

Inorder to get pulled to each other they should be totally isolated from any massive object, which is not possible in this universe. Because we all are held together by gravity of many huge things forget about the sun at the center of solar system. It is less than a peanut as compared to more massive things out there, which curves space time to such extent, that there is no escaping from their gravity.
