Ulva is edible green algae. it is small and a part of marine life. Since its grown in brackish water, it is commonly known as Sea lettuce. They are hollow species with one layered thalli. Earlier they were a part of Enteromorpha, but with new theories that developed it was agreed to include them in Ulva. Hence they are not placed in Kingdom Plantae.
