In uniform linear motion, the instantaneous acceleration and the average acceleration are always zero because the instantaneous velocity does not change over time.

Uniform linear motion means body is moving with constant velocity
as acceleratiom is the rate of change of velocity
as no change in velocity
hence acceleration is zero
