Non-myelinated nerve fibres of the peripheral nervous system are enclosed within continuous chains of Schwann cells. However, in comparison to myelinated fibres, there are no nodes of Ranvier in non-myelinated fibres and there may be as many as nine nerve fibres enveloped within the folds of the Schwann cells in the chain

but if they have continuous myelin sheath then why they are called as non -myelinated
