Why us eastern himalaya has mountauns with more height than western himalaya?

In general, the eastern himalayas are higher with steeper slopes. It is to do with the sequence in the upliftent of the mountains. The eastern part got uplifted later. The western part witness slumping too. Its all related to the sequence in which the Indian plate collided with the eurasian plate.
