The second one is ozone. During the summer months, there is a lot less ozone in the southern hemisphere than in the northern hemisphere. ... And so there are those three factors which lead to the higher UV radiation intensities here, compared with corresponding latitudes in the northern hemisphere.

Answer: During summer , the sun is higher in the sky causing rays to fall in the earth surface in a more direct matter with very less ozone layer travelling by the sun rays. Moreover in summer the clouds in the sky is very less so the sun is not getting blocked causing more UV radiation.

Explanation:

Ozone layer:

The ozone layer is responsible for the absorbing the harmful UV radiation of the sun. This layer is present in the stratosphere. The UV radiation absorbed is about 99-97%. The ozone splits it into two oxygen molecule and a free oxygen molecule.

Since in summer the  sun rays do not properly cross the ozone layer as the rays fall direct, the UV radiation is more in summer.
