why value of pi is 22/7

PI is the ratio of circumference to diameter of a circle, which is an irrational constant. The value of pi is not equal to 22/7. The value 22/7 is just taken because it is a good approximation of pi and it makes calculations a lot simpler. ... Being an irrational number, it has infinite digits after the decimal.
