Area of cross-section of the flow is inversely proportional to velocity of flow. As the area of cross-section decreases velocity increases . As the pressure decreases in the nozzle with increase in the velocity because they both are inversely proportional.their relation can be deduced by the Bernoulli's equation.

Answer: The flow velocity is increased some by the bottom airfoil surface, but considerably less than the flow on top. The Bernoulli equation states that an increase in velocity leads to an decrease in pressure. Thus the higher the velocity of the flow, the lower the pressure.
