Firstly, you should know what are two types of images
They are real image and virtual image :
Real image : A real image is one which can be obtained on a screen and mostly tangible
Virtual image : A virtual image is one which cannot be caught on a screen and is intangible

Coming to the answer :

A virtual image cannot be caught on a screen. An image is said to be real if it can be caught on screen , that is , when there is actual meeting of the light rays , both incident and reflected. When a virtual image is formed , there is no actual meeting of the light rays,both , incident and reflected. Instead , the image appears to come from a particular imaginary point. Hence , the image formed by a mirror is virtual and it cannot be caught on a screen.
