Viruses are the connecting link between Living & Non-Living organisms. These react as Non-Living in the Environment until it comes in contact of Living Cell. Viruses are different from other microbes in these ways : ... 2.they can only reproduce when they attack any cell, unlike other microbes which can reprouce freely.

Viruses are different microbes as they are smaller than other microbes in size.

They are living and non-living organisms. They are known to be living inside the host organism, and non-living outis the host body.

Cool facts:-

•The name "Virus" was given by Pastuer.

• Viruses are smaller than other microbes was discovered by D.J. Ivanowsky. Being, smaller than bacteria, viruses passed from bacteria proof filters.

• A healthy organism/plants can be infected by an infected organism/plant, as discovered by Beijerinek.

• Viruses can be crystallised, as was earlier discovered by W.M. Stanley
