Answer:Mughals were interested in the lands of gonds because the gond kingdom of garha katanga had 70000 villages. Garh katanga was a rich state. Gond kindom was very rich kingdom. They also had a huge resource of elephants which were very useful for transportation.HOPE IT HELPS
