During the French Revolutionnary, Bastille was hated by all as it was the symbol of the arbitrary power of royalty. In fact, People hated this place since they feared to be imprisonned there as it was really easy : some letters called ‘’ lettres de cachet’’ just needed the firm of the King (and no particular reason nor motive) and were given to the soldiers of the King Who would just come to a house, show the later and Take the person to the Bastille.
