In Britain, goods were over produced in the market and introduction of EMI was implemented . initially people enjoyed but gradually people couldn't pay EMI
Putting this a side Britain already had business relations with other countries in producing engineering goods. So goods being produced more and more. But Britain couldn't pay them
At that time it was left with only one option and finally it took loan from US to overcome it's financial problem and also to provide proper facilities to their army during the war.
