Gautama buddha was actually a prince named Siddhartha. While he was around 12, he was moving in his chariot , he saw some people crying. he asked his driver why they were crying. he said ," that person was dead and they are his relatives crying for him".after some distance he saw a man moaning with pain. After coming to the palace buddha felt uncomfortable. so, at the age of 20, he left his place and meditated under a oak tree. he realised people suffer due to their wishes. if they control themselves, from wishing they can live happily. So buddhism was established. it's main motto was to teach people how live in peace and control their desires.
