Why was calpurnia reluctant to send caesar to senate?

she got bad dreams like the lion giving birth to a baby on the Street, blood coming out from the statue of caesar, ghosts coming out of the graves etc. Calpurnia thought that if caesar goes to the Senate something bad would happen as the dreams described bad omen.
