There was no specific reason for discovering cell after invention of microscope but it was the curiosity of the scientists to find what was present in our body. Robert Hooke was one of the scientists.

cell was discovered after the invention of microscope as microscope helped robert hooke to discover and then define it as "little room". only then the cell theory was formed.
