Why was Dr. herriot worried about tricki ?

-> Dr. jerriot was worried about because tricki had become fatter day by day by like a bloated sausage with four legs on each edge. His eyes were becoming red and he was becomming unfit. His tongue lolled from his jaws. He was overweight and unable to walk because Mrs. Pumphrey the mistress of the dog. She thought tricki is suffering from malnourishment so she started giving him cod liver oil , horlicks extra meal to make him healthy and energetic. But she was not successful.
