Why was dr.Sadao kept in japan and not sent abroad with the troops?

Dr. Sadao was not sent to the battlefield because of two reasons: 1. He had perfected a discovery which would render wounds entirely clean. 2. The General might have needed some operation urgently and Dr. Sadao was the best doctor available for this need.
Dr. Sadao vacation a famous consultant and specialist. He was developing a discovery which would contribute injuries completely reliable, he had not communicated with troops. Also, general Yakima was in some inadequate danger that the old officer might need execution and general only presumed Sadao with his health.
According to indefinite all other consultants were from Germany who will be demonstrated that the operation is prosperous even if Yakima perished. Sadao took advantage of this inclination of general.
